Matthew progressed up and through the ranks to become a very good bicycle racer. He has since moved on to bigger and better things. Lt. Matthew Pence, flying F/A - 18F Super Hornets for VFA - 102 bases in Iwakuni Japan. Currently on his second deployment on CVN - 76, USS Ronald Reagan.
