Jack was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, and grew up mountain
biking and cross-country skiing with his family on the weekends. This
love for Sunday morning rides quickly turned into a fascination with
racing, and subsequently a yearning to get faster and stronger on the
bike. Jack is now working on his degree in Public Health, Food, and
Nutrition at Western Washington University, and enjoys balancing this
work with that same goal of improving on the bike that he had as a
kid. When he is not riding, Jack can be found baking sourdough, or
busting out the fiddle for a jam session with friends.
